I saw this comic in the paper and it reminded me of my girls. You can never have too much slobber.

Busy Weekend

Well, I have not posted in a while so I figured it was time. Last weekend was very busy for me. Since we had the new floor installed, and painted the walls, it seemed like the right time to replace the old, worn out looking baseboards. (it was sort of a necessity due to the floor) So, from last Thursday until Sunday afternoon, I was captive in the basement staining, sanding and finishing roughly 200 feet of baseboard and trim molding. I have to say it looks pretty nice (I could not reach my own back for patting). Making great progress on that, I decided it was time to tackle a few more items from the all too long Honey-DO list. So, I finally painted the ceiling in our master bedroom. It is unclear to me why I waited so long to do it, but it is finished now. Unfortunately when I pulled off the tape (which had been there for well over a year, some of the paint from the wall came off. So, a new project is born. It really needed another coat of paint anyway, we kind of skimped it when we painted the first time. Other than that there were a few odds and ends I tied up. Overall, I would say that my honey-DO list was shrinking faster than a Pecker in Ice Water over the weekend. I am sure my honey will add some "new" items to the list, but I felt proud of what I got accomplished this weekend.
